Welcome to FixNow (“FixNow”, “we”, “our”, “us”). Our Terms and Conditions are applicable to your access to our website and our services. Upon visiting our platform, as a customer or a professional, you hereby confirm your agreement to be bound by terms hereunder. In case you disagree, please do not access our platform.

1. Introduction and Coverage of Services
   FixNow is an internet marketplace, connecting individuals and commercial entities within Cyprus with independent specialists to provide handyman, maintenance, and repair services. We are a pure intermediate, allowing scheduling and messaging between end users (“you”) and external service providers (“Professionals”). FixNow never delivers services personally and doesn’t serve as a contracting party to any agreement between a user and professional. Our services are limited to allowing access to this platform and ancillary features such as scheduling appointments and end-to-end encrypted chats.
   
   
2. User Responsibilities and Qualifications
   By using FixNow, you confirm to be 18 or above and be able to enter into binding agreements. You agree to register or purchase services with accurate up-to-date information. Its users' responsibility to keep their account information confidential and be accountable for any action they undertake from their account. You agree to not use the website to commit an offense, to disable its operation, or to provide false or inaccurate information.
   
   
3. Customers and Professionals Relationship
   FixNow neither sponsors nor controls Professionals listed herein. All service providers are independent contractors and are solely responsible to obtain licenses, insurances, and compliance with applicable laws. While some qualifications may be checked, FixNow does neither guarantee, nor provide any form of assurance, concerning the excellence, time, or reliability of services rendered. All obligations and liability arising from agreements with regard to services are between Customer and Professional. It is advisable that users, personally, assess a Professional's suitability before their engagement.
   
   
4. Booking, Payment, and Service Fulfillment
   FixNow bookings are subject to availability and consent by relevant professionals. Payment terms will be by type of requested service and may involve fixed fees, quotations, or time rates. Payment may be taken through interface or between parties, separately, depending on the nature of work. In any case, customers should review and approve expenses in advance, before work begins. FixNow has the right to subsequently provide methods of taking payment online, should they from time to time be made available.
   
   
5. Cancellations, Refunds, and Service Disputes
   Cancellations should be provided within reasonable time, i.e., a minimum of 24 hours from the time of a booked appointment. Repeat cancellations or changes at a very late hour can result in penalization or restricted usage of our platform. A Refund Policy, separate from this one, provides details of situations where refunds are provided and becomes an integral part of these Terms. We do not accommodate disputes regarding excellence or performance of a service; however, we may, from time to time, assist to resolve disputes between Professionals and Customers.
   
   
6. Limitation of Liability
   To the extent allowed by applicable law, FixNow hereby disclaims all expressed or implied warranties with regards to platform functionality and services provided by third-party Professionals. We are not liable for any damages, injuries, or losses resulting from your use of our platform, delays, errors during service, or services providers' actions. Our total liability to any user hereunder will be limited to cumulative fees paid, if any, for services booked through our platform.
   
   
7. Privacy and Data Protection
   FixNow honors your right to privacy and abides by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and by Cyprus data protection laws. We keep, use, and process your personal data ONLY to keep the platform operational and to improve our services. Detailed information concerning our data processing activities are contained within our Privacy Policy which needs to be read in conjunction with these Terms.
   
   
8. Intellectual Property
   All content on FixNow, including texts, logos, designs, software, and media, are FixNow's or its license holders' intellectual property and are covered by applicable copyright, trademark, and other laws. The users are not licensed to reproduce, distribute, or modify any element of the website without written permission.
   
   
9. Modifications and Termination
   FixNow reserves the right to change these Terms anytime and without notice. All changes are immediately effective after being uploaded to this page. Your continued access to the platform after modification signifies your agreement with new Terms. We are also entitled to suspend or terminate any user who violates these Terms or uses the platform to any harmful or unlawful end.
   

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are subject to and are to be interpreted according to the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. All disputes arising out or related to your use of this platform are to be resolved by courts sitting in Nicosia, Cyprus, with exclusive jurisdiction.
